LISA BARNES - Your Practitioner

Lisa Barnes has been involved in the health industry for the past 12 years.  Starting as a Personal Trainer this path lead her towards a more complementary approach to medicine and Lisa moved into the field of Homeopathy.  Her four-year training was at both the British School of Homeopathy, Bath and The Practical College of Homeopathy, London; both renowned and recognised institutions.

Through out the years my studies have incorporated the widest spectrum of training in many different areas of complementary health.  Completing a post-graduate course in Women’s Health & Midwifery, Lisa specialises in children’s behavioural problems such as ADHD, Confidence Issues, Poor Concentration Eczema and Asthma.  All stages of Pregnancy, to the actual birth itself & Post-natal issues.  Working very closely with the London based National Childbirth Trust and private Midwifery teams have lead her to gain a wealth of experience in these areas.  On a personal level of experience, Lisa had a water birth at home with her first son and a natural childbirth with her twin boys.

With the number of digestive complaints ever increasing within her practise, Lisa then trained as a Food Sensitivity & Allergy Consultant using both a Vega and BioMeridian Vantage machine to detect patient’s weaknesses.  One of the biggest complaints connected with Food Allergy Testing that patients come and see Lisa in Bath are M.E, IBS, cramping, bloating and finding weight loss difficult.  Lisa is currently completing her Nutritional training at the ‘Nutritional Healing Foundation in Bristol’.

Lisa is also qualified to use Australian Bush Flower Essences alongside Homeopathy, training with Ian White, the founder of the Bush Essence range.

After leaving her practise in London, Lisa now works out of two busy practises in Bath.   Lisa is a registered homeopath, working with both classical and modern approaches to homeopathy.  Registered and fully insured with the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths and governed by their strict code of ethics and guidelines for its members.  Lisa is committed to integrating medicine working alongside GP’s, dentists, osteopaths, counsellors and acupuncturists.
